Hi John, thanks for the feedback. I don’t know Joanna. And sorry about the traditions thing… I confess I didn’t really think about it, I was thinking more along the lines that it was important to mention where I got sober, in case someone who was watching the video didn’t know where to go to try. Thanks for the understanding.
Regards,
Todd
Todd, that was a very inspiring and moving video. Thank you very much for that.
Thank you. My son is currently an inpatient at a recovery center. I’m doing my best to find ways to support him but not enable him and as an “Earth” person I’m trying to understand. It is very encouraging to know that he has people like you to help him through this.
Todd,
Loved what you had to say! I am a bit of an AA Traditions guy and just wish that you hadn’t mentioned AA in the film. I need to respect that Tradition as much as any other. With that said, and with the belief that Love and Tolerance is our Code, I respected your outlook a lot. Have you ever run across my dear friend Joanna M. in Carson City? She is the first person who I ever heard in a meeting who talked about us coming from another planet and I said to myself, “Yes! She knows how I feel”. I have been sober now for 27 years and love this life and cheerfully give it away whenever I can.
In Service…..John H.
