On Sunday night, Komplicated joined with the Bay Area's DJ Delgado to create The Top 10 Greatest Songs in Hip Hop History, a free mixtape and list for your enjoyment.
DJ Delgado decided that the project was not just interesting, but compelling enough to help him do some good for others. He wrote …
Because I really am extra curious about your top 10 list, and I really want to raise some awareness and money for Circle of Care, a non profit dedicated to helping families cope with terminal illness, I am upping the ante. For every top 10 greatest hip hop songs of all time posted in the comments here, I will donate $5 to Circle of Care in their upcoming walk around Oakland's Lake Merritt. Additionally, I will record you a mix & burn you a CD of it if you donate $10 to the event as well. Make sure to post your lists by Friday 9pm PST to get me to donate the money.
If you'd like to donate, you can do that as well, but for the cost of some hip hop memories, you can help families cope with tragedy.
