Meet Gary Brooks Faulkner, the scary-looking man hot on the trail of Osama bin Laden.
In case you missed it, an American named Gary Brooks Faulkner was arrested in Pakistan.
Here’s the background you need to know: Faulkner was picked up near the Pakistani-Afghan border carrying a sword, a handgun, and some Christian religious books. He had been looking for Osama Bin Laden since the Sept. 11 attacks, but he claimed he wasn’t going to kill him. Pakistani police didn’t believe him. Imagine that.
But here’s the twist: Faulkner doesn’t appear to be some crazy black sheep in his family. His brother, Scott, who is a doctor, gave an interview to CNN and said he fully supports his brother taking the law into his own hands. In fact, he thinks Gary was hot on Osama’s trail after finding a cave and a couple of guys with walkie-talkies.
Here are some of the choicest tidbits, but there are plenty more, so be sure to scroll down to see the full video for yourself.
“To have one guy slap us in the face, and say, ‘Ha, look what I did. You can’t touch me — That goes against everything our family stands for.”
“Normally Gary, when he goes to Pakistan, he will have a sword. And he was trained in Hapkido, and he knows some martial arts and how to handle himself. And a three-edged dagger. And that’s (sic) his weapons of choice. Unfortunately the Pakistan government is not going to allow you to carry, you know, a sniper rifle, a .308, onto an airplane and into their country.”

“As an American, he is doing something that we would all wish to do. If we saw Osama walking down the sidewalk, you and I— well I know I would—probably put a bullet in the guy’s head.”

More power to him. IF Even if his intentions WERE to just find him..perhaps convert him, as Paul did so many thousands of years ago, with the same mind set; he would have indeed killed the Bin laden that used to be, without shedding a drop of blood. I say let him go and do what he is meant to do..God is guiding him for a reason.
