NOTE: The following is the text of the technology news summary from the Sunday, May 8th It's Komplicated webcast.
Apps and code, hard drives and speedy processors, Technophilia gives you all the details on the world of technology and the future.
ITEM: Blackberry fans will be excited to hear that Research In Motion is announcing their new OS, BlackBerry 7, which is coming for the Bold Touch. That sounds freaky, but it's not. Voice activated searches, HTML video support, a better JavaScript compiler and browser enhancements come with promises of speed and ease improvements. This only works for new phones, so if you've got a Blackberry now, well, sorry.

ITEM: If you could have the equivalent of an iPod Touch running Android, would that get you going? Gizmodo talked about the Galaxy S Wi-Fi, a four or five inch wonder that doesn't have any phone capabilities. 800×480 screen, 1 GHz processor, 3.2 megapixel camera, front facing camera, 8GB or 16GB models, blah blah blah, Swiss army connection options. Oh, and it launches in Russia and Switzerland, so if you want it in the US, grab a Snickers, it'll be a while.

ITEM: You like money, right? Well, if you have some time to blow when you're just walking around, and happen to have an iOS device, you can try Gigwalk, an app that fulfills a simple idea. If you need something simple done at your store or other physical location, as long as it's something almost anyone can do, you can put a job up on Gigwalk for people to grab. Jobs like verifying (with a photo) the placement of a traffic sign, or evaluating the quality of service at a retailer. Jobs like that are currently in the system in San Francisco.
