  1. People try to blame Wal Mart and other national chains for putting small businesses out of business… but more often than not it’s the morons who open small businesses who put small businesses out of business.

    • I would say that many people who open small businesses may not know what they’re doing. That being said, when Wal Mart opens and a formerly successful downtown starts to shut down, then there is some correlation. Of course at the end of the day, it’s consumers making choices to shut down smaller businesses in favour of larger chains….
