After a privileged upbringing and an arranged marriage that ended in divorce, Crown Prince Manvendra Singh Gohil came out as gay. Local people burned his picture and wanted him stripped of his title and exiled. His mother disowned him. But as he says in this inspiring video, “Within me, there was this strength that was telling me that I am true to myself and what I am doing is not just for myself but for all of the gay of India.”
