In many places, celebrations of GLBT pride are held in June, from Gay Day at Walt Disney World to New York City’s Gay Pride Parade through the historic Village. Whether you celebrate with “family” close to home, travel to attend distant gay galas, or avoid the parades altogether each year, annual demonstrations and gatherings of the tribe continue to be a visible and important symbol of our shared culture.
