Blast from the past: Brad Kelstrom is guest editor for a week of nostalgia.
For one week next month, The Good Men Project will be going old school! The Good Men Project wants to look back at how all how things male have changed over the last five decades. Choose your decade between 1960 to the 2000s and share your story of boyhood, growing into a man, being a partner or parent, or any other story you want to tell from that decade. What historical events from a specific decade formed you into the man you are today? If you’re not interested in writing about a specific decade, how do you think men’s roles or expectations have changed within your lifetime? What was it like growing up in your specific decade compared to raising your children today? How has courtship or marriage changed from decade to decade?
Please email your article as a Word document to bradleyk22@comcast.net by April 28th. Submissions should be within 800 to 1000 words. Please be sure to include your name and email address on your document.
