I shower every morning. Less as a means to get clean and more as a ritual to start the day. I love water and I usually end my night with either another shower or a long soak in the bathtub with my Kindle (it’s gotten to the point that I literally feel awkward trying to read a book anywhere but in a vat of water).

I went on a silent retreat two years running and deeply appreciated the peace and contentment I discovered within me. I kept it up at home for a while, but dropped… Read more »
