You have the option
to place your brain
inside a robotic simulacrum
of your body.
So long as it’s kept properly maintained you will essentially be immortal, but the model you’re put in will never allow you to feel any physical sensation again. The process cannot be reversed and you cannot upgrade to a better model.
Would you give up touch, taste and smell if meant never having to die?
hmmm, almost like that star trek tos episode.
tough choice.
ill go cyborg then spend 100,000 years working on ways to, using young people’s language, ‘hack’ the trap
I would do it but only if they put my head right next to former President Nixon’s so I could just bug him all the time about all his political blunders.
NOAP. I enjoy all the taste/smell/touch/see/hear aspects of life. Not worth living without them! (Plus, I think 80ish years is long enough to deal with life on earth 😉
Not to cyborg. Living without sensation is no living at all.
