best & worst treats

Allan Mott was once accused of being a narcissistic goth lesbian by a disgruntled Amazon reviewer. That pretty much sums up his writing career (which includes 12 and 1/2 books and frequent contributions to such sites as XOJane, XOJaneUK, Canuxploitation, Bookgasm and Flick Attack,). His most personal writing can be found at VanityFear.com, where he uses the subject of B-Movies to mostly talk about boobs and stuff. Tweet him on the Twitter at @HouseofGlib.
Best: Twix, Hershey’s
Worst: Cheap, waxy chocolates
dont forget to pump up that supahit from ray parker jr ‘ghostbusters’ (im glad he kept the rights to the song too)

whatta tune, whatta bassline. such partyfeelgood happy music (just love the neon and the happyfeel of the vid)
will get the children smiling and dancing.
The best are the really good mini candy bars, the worst are the cheap fake candy things that you’d never see in a gas station or convenience store.
The best, as a mom, is when parents give out toothbrushes, pretzels, fruit snacks, etc. Saves me a lot of stress! But I know it sucks for the kid. Bwah hahahahahah!
That reminds me that I need to go get the Switch Witch presents!!!
The worst Halloween candy I’ve ever received were those sugar ribbon candies that old people used to eat. I remember one time getting a whole ziploc freezer bag of them. I immediately realized that, in this world, there’s no such thing as free candy.

I love candy corn! And circus peanuts. And Necco Wafers. I swear I’m not actually from the 1800s or anything. :/
Worst treat: Homemade popcorn balls, since I was a kid in the razors-in-the-apple 80s so my mom threw those things away in a hot second.
Best: Those hard candies with the soft fruit filling. Man, I miss those.
I’m with you on the circus peanuts, but I prefer the banana variation on the same theme. I’ve only tried Necco Wafers once after reading about them and then finding them in a specialty candy store. I was not impressed. 🙂
Yeah, not a big fan of candy corn. As I see it there’s a lot of residual “treats” that that used to be treats comparatively back when, but they just don’t stand up compared to today’s options. But people still give them out because of “tradition” or something. Back during the Depression or whatever I guess candy corn was a treat, because it is better than day-old bread or potatoes. Now, not so much.
More Airheads, less candy corn please.
