House of Cards star riffs on Congress.

Legendary actor Kevin Spacey appeared on the Daily Show this past Tuesday. He discussed his preparation for the show, which included shadowing Republican Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy, before tearing into our current political state of affairs:
Stewart: As an observer of it, [Washington] looks utterly corrupt, and corrosive. When you’re that close to it..what does it feel like?
Spacey: It feels like you’re watching performance art. A lot of the time. I don’t believe them, I don’t believe what they say, I don’t think most of them are being sincere, I think it’s performance art. And most of them are bad actors.
