Alex Yarde shares spoiler filled video detailing Wonder Woman’s armor, weapons plus ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ tidbits
According to Joeblo, Princess Diana will be first introduced as “Diana Prince” early on in the film before she appears as Wonder Woman and her origin will be intentionally vague which points to her own future solo film. “Amazonian warrior princess” is the description used by Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice costume designer, Michael Wilkinson. JoBlo says the costume “is ripped from the comics” She will wear a blue leather skirt, silver-armored cuffs her golden tiara and her red and gold armored girdle. YES!
Reportedly, the honchos at Warner Bros are over the moon with the costume’s design. So much so the term “badass” has been used quite often. Diana of Themyscaria will be armed to the teeth with four weapons: Amazonian sword, shield, and spear and of course the golden Lasso of Truth. Her Amazonian shield will be worn on her back, Captain America-style when not in use. Diana “will have a fair amount of screen time” which makes sense with such an arsenal. The Justice League’s “Trinity”— Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman–will unite for the third act final battle against an as of yet unknown villain courtesy of Lex Luthor.
Reportedly a ginger locked billionaire Lex Luthor, who has always been larger than life and twice as ugly, bears a grudge against Superman. Superman’s very existence as a demi-god makes Lex second fiddle, which is an unforgivable sin. Capitalizing upon the destruction of Metropolis no doubt, Lex ratchets up a successful “Earth first” agenda. The public split as some see Superman as a savior, while others distrust the strange visitor from another world.
As reported before, Affleck’s Batman will be a grizzled, veteran crime fighter in Batman v Superman. Wayne Manor exists, but Bruce Wayne chooses to live on the expansive estate in a modern lakeside cottage. The subterranean level is where Wayne keeps his “wonderful toys”. A futuristic Batcave complete with Batwing, Batmobile, giant penny & dinosaurs optional. Zack Snyder is constructing this lakeside cottage in Metamora,Michigan. Batfleck is a ruthless vigilante who “will do anything it takes to get the job done”, which will put him at odds with Superman who is described as “a rule follower”. I suspect the Man Of Steel’s killing of Zod & collateral damage from the battles of Metropolis and Smallvile may have the chilling effect of bringing Kal-El closer to the historical “Big Blue Boy Scout” instead of the morose, slightly arrogant & homicidal version in Man Of Steel. In my humble opinion, this is a good thing. My takeaway is that while they seem to be doing Princess Diana justice (pun intended) Wonder Woman deserves to be in the title. How Superman gets second billing in his own sequel escapes me. I say just chuck the long inaccurate title and call it “Justice League: Trinity”. I’m excited about the prospect of a Wonder Woman stand-alone film as well!
