A woman fights a bunch of monsters in ‘Oath of Thorns’
I have read some good graphic novels lately. Some of these focus on well known heroes and villains. Yet others follow the adventures of characters I am less familiar with. When I first heard of Belle: Oath of Thorns I thought it looked like it could be a good read. I was able to get a digital copy of this graphic novel and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Oath of Thorns here:
After her life was recently turned upside down, things have finally begun to settle for Anabelle “Belle” DiMarco. Now, working with the organization known as C.H.I.P. she has more allies than she has ever had in her war against the beasts who threaten mankind. But, with her new allies comes a new mission, and the price she will be asked to pay may not be worth the cost.
This was overall a fun graphic novel to read. Belle is just getting used to her new occupation and stops some mythical creatures from doing some terrible. She obtains a mysterious artifact, one she hopes can help someone close to her. While this tale moves along, they will learn more about their shattered past. Along the way, she will find out people she thought she could trust end up having ulterior motives. As this graphic novel comes to a close Belle gets those she cares about out of a very dangerous situation in one piece.
Belle: Oath of Thorns is available now. You can order this graphic novel on Amazon, at Barnes and Noble and Indiebound.
