The theme for this year’s event was “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination,” and not everyone stuck to the script. There were a few notable outfits among the men in attendance (Tom Brady’s magician getup notwithstanding), but most of the attention was paid to the women. And over the past day, Social was the most supportive of actress Amanda Seyfried, whose Renaissance-style gown by Prada helped her earn a 90 percent positive score. Blake Lively’s $2 million dress studded with jewelry was held in high regard as well, and she has an 87 percent positive score over the same time span. Rounding out the stars in the 80 percent range are Gigi Hadid (85 percent positive); Amal Clooney (83 percent); and Mindy Kaling and Lena Waithe (80 percent). Waithe got a large amount of attention for her rainbow pride cape, a nod to the LGBTQ community. Actress Frances McDormand sits at 73 percent positive, followed by Sarah Jessica Parker and Zendaya at 68 percent, Kim Kardashian at 66 percent, and Rihanna at 64 percent. (To be fair, Rihanna was one of the co-hosts and her outfit was analyzed perhaps more than that of anyone else.) Madonna ended up with a 58 percent positive score, barely beating Katy Perry with her gigantic angel wings (56 percent), and Selena Gomez (53 percent positive). –Alex Shultz Image: @Twitter
