Hopes and dreams are a good thing to have in life. So naturally there are many different stories that focus on this topic. They range in content and audience, but share many things in common. Daisy is a story that is all about a cow on a farm who wants to see the world. I was able to read a digital copy of this book and here is what I thought about it.

All Daisy the cow wants is to see the world. Peeking in through Farmer Brown’s window while he watches television, she is awestruck by all of the exciting places beyond the farm. When the gate to her field is left open, her wish comes true. A chance encounter with a movie producer transforms her into an international star, but fame is challenging for a cow. She must decide if her new life is truly what she wants.

I had a great time reading Daisy. This cow had big dreams, and it was a joy to watch them all come true. She got to not only see the world, but become a big star along the way. In the end though, she had to make a tough choice. I can see many kids having a lot of fun joining her on her adventure and they will love all the impressive illustrations.
