This crew finds themselves on a strange planet in ‘Dogworld’
I really enjoyed reading the first Captain Ginger graphic novel. We met a crew that was unlike anything I had ever seen before. Many of them were seen as misfits, but they tried to work together anyway. As this graphic novel came to a close, it was clear the adventures for this crew had only just begun. When I heard about Captain Ginger: Dogworld I was looking forward to reading it. I was able to get a digital copy of this graphic novel and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Captain Ginger Dogworld here:
Captain Ginger and his feline crew embark on a vast, six-issue adventure when they follow a mysterious hyperspace signal to the home of their unknown canine “cousins.” But trouble aboard ship may doom them before they even meet the dogs.
I had a blast reading this graphic novel. The crew seemed to be making progress, until an old enemy showed up. A battle ensued that left this ship in bad shape. This crew abandoned ship, and ended up crashing on a mysterious planet. At first, these two species refused to get along but after talking for a bit it looked like an alliance was forming between them. They had a common enemy, and stopping them wasn’t something either one could do alone. As this graphic novel comes to a close, it looks like things might get worse for this crew before they get any better. Fans of the first Captain Ginger graphic novel won’t want to miss this one.
