‘DC League of Super Pets’ is out now on Blu-Ray
I have enjoyed most of the recent DC films I have seen. Joker put new spins on an origin story and was a blast to watch unfold. Suicide Squad brought a bunch of villains together for a very crazy mission and took viewers on a wild ride. When I heard DC League of Super Pets was coming to Blu-Ray I couldn’t wait to check it out. I was able to get a review copy of this movie and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for DC League of Super Pets here:
Krypto the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime in Metropolis side by side. When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are kidnapped, Krypto must convince a rag-tag shelter pack—Ace the hound, PB the potbellied pig, Merton the turtle and Chip the squirrel—to master their own newfound powers and help him rescue the superheroes.
I had a a great time watching this film. We see two best friends who seem to have a great life together. But when a big change is on its way it looks like this friendship might be over. While this is going on a powerful foe captures the Justice League and it is up to a team of super pets to stop them. Along the way this team gets used to their powers and start to truly gel as a team. As this movie comes to a close life for Krypto will never be the same.
