‘Dead Men Tell No Tales’ Takes Jack on another crazy adventure
I have liked most of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. At World’s End and On Stranger Tides weren’t that good though. When I heard of Dead Men Tell No Tales I had my doubts about it. Yet it was actually not bad. Now it is coming out on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-Ray. I was able to get a review copy and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Dead Men Tell No Tales here:
The rip-roaring adventure—packed with humor, suspense and jaw-dropping special effects—finds down-on-his-luck Captain Jack feeling the winds of ill fortune blowing strongly his way when deadly ghost sailors, led by the terrifying Captain Salazar, escapes from the Devil’s Triangle bent on killing every pirate at sea—notably Jack.
I had fun watching Dead Men Tell No Tales again. It is not the best Pirates of the Caribbean film, but it was definitely better than the last two. ‘Cracked Earth’ shows how much of the makeup was made for Captain Salazar and his crew. ‘Deconstructing the Ghost Sharks’ reveals how they brought the menacing creatures to this film. They are also some deleted scenes and a hilarious blooper reel. If you want to learn more about Dead Men Tell No Tales click on this website.
