The bloody games begin again on ‘Jigsaw’ coming to Blu-Ray

I am a huge fan of the Saw movies. I enjoyed all of them, and was saddened when I heard the series was coming to an end. When I heard Jigsaw was being made, I couldn’t wait to see it. It was definitely better than I expected it to be. I was able to get a review copy and here is what I thought of this film.

After a series of murders bearing all the markings of the Jigsaw killer, law enforcement officials find themselves chasing the ghost of a man who has been dead for over a decade, and they become embroiled in a new game that’s only just begun. Is John Kramer back from the dead to remind the world to be grateful for the gift of life? Or is this a trap set by a killer with designs of his own?

I had a blast watching Jigsaw again. It adds a new chapter to the saga, and has plenty of the things that make this series amazing. The traps are wonderful, and the mystery is a pleasure to watch unfold before your eyes. There is a great seven part documentary called ‘I Speak for the Dead: The Legacy of Jigsaw’ that takes viewers deep into the making of this film, and the history of the saga.
