Dick asks for help from a friend in ‘Donna Troy’
Last time on Titans, this team all got captured and put into an Asylum. Things looked dire for many of them as they were all pushed to their limits. They were luckily able to get out and save Rachel’s mom. Kory made sure to burn the place to the ground. After that, Dick decides it might be good to go on his own for a while. He chooses to hang with an old friend in ‘Donna Troy’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and this is what I thought of it.
You can read the premise for ‘Donna Troy’ here:
As the Titans disband to go their separate ways, Dick decides to turn to old friend and investigative journalist, Donna Troy aka Wonder Girl, for answers. When he’s soon embroiled in her undercover investigation of a crime syndicate, he realizes that past events have taken more of a psychological toll than he previously imagined. Meanwhile, seeing Kory’s distress over her inability to recover her identity, Rachel attempts to use her powers to heal Kory’s memory… with unintended and frightening consequences.
Dick is going through a bit of an identity crisis in ‘Donna Troy’. After the Asylum, he isn’t sure who he is anymore. He knows he can’t be Robin, but he isn’t sure where to go next. Hanging with an old friend helps him a bit, and it also provides some answers about Kory. Gar, Rachel and Kory decide to go stay at a place with Rachel’s mom where they hope to lay low for a while. As the truth about Kory comes to light so does who she is and what her mission might actually be. If you liked the previous episodes then this is one you won’t want to miss.
