A sinister plan moves forward in ‘My Own Worst Enemy’

Last time on Marvel Spider-Man, our hero had a serious fight with Doc Ock. When the dust settled, it looked like this villain had taken over Peter Parker’s mind somehow. With these new powers he sets an evil plan into motion. Yet things may not go as planned in ‘My Own Worst Enemy’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and here is what I thought of it.

You can read the premise for ‘My Own Worst Enemy’ here:

Doc Ock, now in Spider-Man’s body, intends to bring New York City to its knees, but instead finds his newly acquired brain still contains some of Peter Parker’s memories (particularly ones of Uncle Ben). These memories push him into being a hero despite himself—And force him to stop a plan of his own devising, being carried out by Silver Sable.

Doc Ock has big plans for his new body in ‘My Own Worst Enemy’. Things seem to be going great at first, but complications come up almost immediately. It turns out Parker’s memories are still there, and they begin to affect him in ways he didn’t expect. As this episode comes to a close he stops something awful from happening, and sets himself up for a role he never thought he would take on.
