‘Woo-oo!’ Brings this show back for a new generation
I really liked Ducktales as a kid. It had great characters, amazing stories, terrifying monsters and a catchy theme song. Now a reboot of this show is coming out. It has a wonderful cast and plans on bringing this series to a new generation of fans. I was able to watch a screener of ‘Woo-oo!’, the pilot for this show and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the premise for ‘Woo-oo!’ here:
Donald Duck reluctantly takes his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie to the home of their reclusive great-uncle Scrooge McDuck. Enthralled by their once legendary great-uncle and the wonder of McDuck Manor, the triplets and their newfound fierce friend Webby learn of long-kept family secrets and unleash totems from Scrooge’s epic past, sending the family on an adventure of a lifetime to the Lost City of Atlantis.
‘Woo-oo!’ was a really good Ducktales pilot. It was broken into two episodes, and each one was full of adventure. It has a similar feel to the original show, but deviates from it in certain ways too. Webby and Mrs. Beakley are a bit different, yet in a good way. If you were a fan of the original, then this is a show you will want to check out.
