Destiny 2 is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a PC version coming on Oct. 24. The online-only first-person shooter shares some Halo characteristics—it was developed by Halo creator Bungie and features a sci-fi storyline that involves mowing down countless aliens with a trove of futuristic weapons. There’s a campaign mode, tons of “loot” to grab to enhance a user’s abilities and appearance and a player vs. player mode (four vs. four) to make sure gamers won’t get bored. As GameSpot writes: “It’s a much stronger foundation than the original had and one that’s enough on its own to keep people coming back week after week.” Metacritic gives Destiny 2 an aggregate rating of 86 out of 100, and over the last 14 days, “Destiny 2 + Video + Game” has a sky-high 93 percent positive score on Social. –Alex Shultz
