Watch this hero take on lots of foes in ‘The Flash: Starting Line’
I can say I am a fan of The Flash. It is a hero who gets powers in a freak accident and decides to use them for good. They have done a great job with him on the TV show, and in many of the DC animated films. Yet I haven’t really read any of his comics before. So when I heard about The Flash: Starting Line I was hoping I would get to read it. I was lucky to get a digital copy of this graphic novel and this is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for The Flash Starting Line here:
Ever since he was struck by a bolt of lightning and doused in a potent mix of chemicals, Barry Allen has kept the streets of Central City safe as the Flash–the Fastest Man Alive! But thwarting crime has earned him a powerful and eccentric Rogues Gallery. Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Mirror Master, Golden Glider, the Trickster and Weather Wizard have now united in their hatred for the Scarlet Speedster, and they won’t quit until they put the brakes on his crime-fighting ways.
The Flash: Starting Line took me on an intense journey. This hero took on some new baddies, visited the speed force itself, took a trip to Gorilla City, and fought many familiar rogues who somehow are stronger than ever before. We also got to see how he became The Flash and the challenges he has faced along the way. The ending was very good and this hero will be needed more than ever to stop the new threat plaguing his city. If you want to learn more about The Flash: Starting Line click on this website.
