Join a girl on an amazing adventure in ‘The Secret Garden’

Movies based on books can be hit or miss. The Harry Potter films were pretty good, and so were The Lord of the Rings movies. When I heard about The Secret Garden I was curious to check it out. I was able to get a review copy of this film and here is what I thought of it.

You can read the plot for The Secret Garden here:

A new take on the beloved classic novel of the same name written by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Set in England during a new time period in 1947, the film follows a young orphan girl who, after being sent to live with her uncle, discovers a magical garden on the grounds of his estate.

Overall I enjoyed this movie. It began a bit slow at first, but once the garden gets found the story really got going. We see this girl began to share this place with people, and they find out there is more to it than meets the eye. As this tale comes to a close none of the characters lives will ever be the same again.

The Secret Garden is available now on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital. You can follow this film on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
