A new enemy is on their way in ‘The Winter of Walking Stone’

I really enjoyed the first A House Divided book. When a teenager inherited a huge house from a mysterious relative, they had no idea what to do with it. Once they entered this place it became clear there was a lot of weird things going on in this house. As the first book came to a close, it was clear this adventure was far from over. When I heard about The Winter of Walking Stone I couldn’t wait to read it. I was able to get a digital copy of this graphic novel and here is what I thought of it.

You can read the plot for The Winter of Walking Stone here:

After saving her house and the nearby town from a magical flood, Henrietta Achilles prepares to settle in for the winter. But as her friends say farewell and depart the manor, a strange army of walking statues begins heading her way. With her allies elsewhere, Henrietta will have to search for help in the unlikeliest of places. . . .

The book began with Henrietta getting started on some much needed repair work for this peculiar manor. While cleaning up she has a run in with a strange looking statue, one that intends to cause her great harm for some reason. After this creature is taken down, she decides to try to learn more about it. Once she gets help from an unlikely ally she finds out something truly distressing. As this book comes to a close it seems like a powerful army is on its way. Fans of the previous A House Divided books will want to check this one out.

A House Divided: The Winter of Walking Stone is available now. You can order this graphic novel on Amazon, at Barnes and Noble and Indiebound.
