A hero will rise in ‘She Ra and the Princesses of Power’
I never watched She-Ra: Princess of Power. When I heard She Ra and the Princesses of Power was being made, I had my doubts about it at first. When I saw the first teaser though, many of those doubts faded away. I thought it looked pretty good and was hoping I would get a chance to check it out. I was able to get screeners for season 1 and here is what I thought of them.
You can read the plot for She Ra and the Princesses of Power season 1 here:
She–Ra and the Princesses of Power is the story of an orphan named Adora, who leaves behind her former life in the evil Horde when she discovers a magic sword that transforms her into the mythical warrior princess She–Ra. Along the way, she finds a new family in the Rebellion as she unites a group of magical princesses in the ultimate fight against evil.
I was pleasantly surprised by She Ra and the Princesses of Power season 1. Adora was a very good character who had tough choices to make as this season progressed. These choices set certain events in motion, and not always in a good way. Sometimes things got real bad and looked very bleak. This season revealed some powerful villains, and was full of surprises. I thought the animation was quite good, and the special effects helped make many scenes look truly stunning. I am not sure if fans of the original series will enjoy this one, but I would recommend checking it out.
She Ra and the Princesses of Power premieres November 13th on Netflix. You can follow this show on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
