The Good Men Project

‘Horns’ has Daniel Radcliffe Going Dark

Daniel Radcliffe’s latest role might be his most interesting yet.

Most people will know Daniel Radliffe from his years as Harry Potter in the wildly popular movie series based upon the equally popular book series. This role had him playing the heroic teenager defeating the powers of evil. However, since the series ended Radcliffe has pursued a few other leading roles and they have certainly been less family friendly.

Based upon the novel by the same name, Horns follows Ignatius “Ig” Perrish(Radcliffe) as he gains some rather disturbing powers and sprouts horns from his head a short time after his girlfriend is found murdered. The world around him grows dark and he is forced to face his own inner demons and those of others as he seeks out the person responsible for the death of his girlfriend.  While this wont be Radcliffe’s first foray into the world of fantasy, it certainly will be very different from his previous magical role.

Horns does not have a US release date set as of this writing, however it will premier in the United Kingdom October 31st. Hopefully a worldwide release will follow soon after, in the meantime check out  the source material; Horns (novel) by Joe Hill.
