Imaginary Mary ‘The Mom Seal’ Starts this show off with a bang
When I first heard of Imaginary Mary, I have to say I wasn’t that impressed. The pilot didn’t help change my doubts about it. Yet my views are starting to shift a bit. Even though is still isn’t that funny to me, the heart is definitely there. This is definitely true on the episode ‘The Mom Seal’ I was able to watch a screener of it and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the premise for ‘The Mom Seal’ here:
When Ben asks Alice to help him with her first mom-like task to pick up Bunny from dance class, Mary quickly discovers the simplest parental tasks are fraught with difficulty. Afterwards, Ben is disappointed when Alice tells him she can’t help with the kids anymore, but things change when Andy enlists Alice’s help to overcome his fear of taking a driving test.
I liked the new Imaginary Mary episode ‘The Mom Seal’. Even though it wasn’t that funny, the heart and soul is strong. Mary wasn’t so rude or obnoxious, and the kids are great as always. The message of the episode is a good one, all ages can learn from it. I won’t say this show is good yet, but this episode helps it slowly get there. It won’t be a show for everybody, but some people may really enjoy it. If you want to learn more about Imaginary Mary click on this website.
