Discover some amazing things about this clothing in ‘Denim’
Last time on The World According to Jeff Goldblum, Jeff took a look at the world of body art. He got to talk to people who have been a part of this culture for a long time. There was also someone he got to talk to who brought back an ancient way of tattooing. Along the way he got to do a bit of tattooing on someone himself. As this episode came to a close he believed he knew why people love this fad so much. Now he takes a look at a type of clothing in ‘Denim’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the premise for ‘Denim’ here:
Jeff Goldblum slips into the tight-fitting world of DENIM to explore its transformation from a workman’s uniform to an empowering statement of identity. He adventures down abandoned mine shafts with “Indiana Jeans;” seeks out vintage denim at America’s biggest flea market; and joins Texan denim-clad line dancers all while he uncovers the fascinating history of the garment that took over the world.
You learn some pretty amazing things about this attire in ‘Denim’. The history alone was rather interesting, as well as how it became a culture all its own. Jeff got to meet a number of fascinating people, and each one had a reason why they loved this type of clothes. As this episode came to a close it became clear this is not a trend that is going away any time soon.
The World According to Jeff Goldblum ‘Denim’ airs this Friday on Disney Plus. You can follow this show on Facebook.
