Junior gets a wonderful opportunity in ‘High Society’
Last time on Grown-ish, Junior was starting his freshman year at Cal U. Zoey was there to help out and see her boyfriend Aaron. While Junior is trying to figure out why he is attending Cal U Zoey realizes just how much she missed the college experience. Yet as this episode came to a close Zoey and Junior had a chat and knew what they needed to do next. Now Junior gets a great opportunity in ‘High Society’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the premise for ‘High Society’ here:
Friction mounts between Junior and Annika when one of them is tapped for a secret society. Red flags start to arise when Aaron discovers the university is overusing his image to promote how “diverse and inclusive” they are.
Junior and his friends are talking about clubs on campus at the start of this episode. Junior sees no point in it, but his friends say it can be a great opportunity. Of course his mood changes when he gets recruited by a secret society. Junior is excited to be a part of them until he finds out why they chose him in the first place. Meanwhile Aaron isn’t happy about how they are using his image on campus and Doug makes a choice at work that ends up costing him dearly. As this episode comes to a close Junior is happy about a decision he made.
