‘The Nut Job 2’ Can soon be yours to own on Blu-Ray

I never saw The Nut Job. The film looked okay, but didn’t look that great either. When I heard a sequel was being made, I thought it was a terrible idea. When I got a pass to see The Nut Job 2 I decided to give it a shot. It surprised me in a number of ways. When I got offered a review copy, I was looking forward to seeing it again. Here is my thoughts on this movie.

You can read the plot for The Nut Job 2 here:

Surly Squirrel (Arnett) and the gang are back, returning to Liberty Park after they are forced to leave their easy life at the nut store. Getting back to nature is the last thing Surly wants to do, but when a greedy mayor decides to destroy the park to build an amusement park, Surly and his ragtag critter friends must band together to save the place they call home.

It was fun watching The Nut Job 2 again. Jackie Chan is hilarious in it as the little mouse Mr. Feng. He brings plenty of laughs, and lots of amazing action. This is not a perfect film, but it has some good moments. It is nice to find out how Surly and Buddy met, the animation in this scene is top notch. There is also a deleted scene and a couple of pretty cool Progression reels. I can’t say this is a must see film, but I think most kids will enjoy it.
