Kirkman makes a risky decision in ‘Designated Survivor’ season 3

Designated Survivor season 1 ended up being better than I expected. It took getting a review copy to watch it, but once I did I really enjoyed it. I was able watch a few episodes of season 2 before it got cancelled. So I was happy to hear Netflix picked it up for a third season. I was able to get screeners for this season and here is what I thought of it.

You can read the plot for Designated Survivor season 3 here:

President Kirkman faces a political reality…campaigning. What does it take to make a leader? What price will he be willing to pay? This season will explore today’s world of campaigning, smear tactics, debates, campaign finance and “fake news.” Democracy, as we know it, will hang in the balance.

I was very impressed with season 3. It had drama, suspense, thrills and a few surprises. Kirkman was taking on a tough battle, but he tried to do it with his usual brand of honesty and integrity. He learned real fast though that this might not be enough to win. Some things happened I didn’t see coming, and the season ended in a way that was pretty satisfying.
