There are very few movies that come out like Nerve. The premise sounds simple and at first glance may not sound too exciting to you yet don’t judge it so quickly. There are many reasons to like this techno-thriller. I was able to see this movie early and here is why I think you need to see it.

Here is the plot for Nerve:

Industrious high school senior Vee Delmonico (Emma Roberts) is tired of living life on the sidelines. Pressured by her friends, Vee decides to join Nerve, a popular online game that challenges players to accept a series of dares. It’s not long before the adrenaline-fueled competition requires her to perform increasingly dangerous stunts. When Nerve begins to take a sinister turn, Vee finds herself in a high-stakes finale that will ultimately determine her entire future.

When I first went to see Nerve, I knew little about it and was not sure what to expect. The film starts off simple enough but as it progresses and the stakes get higher this was when this film got interesting for me. I could relate to the main characters because who doesn’t get bored with their path in life and find themselves hungering for something different. There are plenty of moments in when viewers are unsure what is going to happen next. The finale was especially intense and is going to surprise tons of people. The best thing about Nerve though is the cast. From the big name stars to the smaller stars and even the unknowns together they have crafted something great. Overall it is an adrenaline pumping thrill ride that is absolutely worth seeing this Friday. If you want to learn more about Nerve check out this website.

Nerve gets 8/10. It is an original story that people can relate to and is quite clever too. From the beginning scenes down to the final scenes there is never a dull moment. It has a great soundtrack and the enemy is not easy to see and harder to try to stop. It is great to see something different for a change when most thrillers lately follow the same path and usually end the same way. This movie impressed me in many ways and is something you need to run out and see.
