Seth Rogen brings lots of laughs to ‘Hilarity for Charity’
I like Seth Rogen. His comedy is usually pretty funny, but not all the time. Sometimes it goes too far, and ‘Hilarity for Charity’ looked to be heading that route. Honestly it surprised me in many ways. I was able to watch a screener of this special and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for ‘Hilarity for Charity’ here:
Seth Rogen and friends combine stand-up, sketches and music into an outrageous comedy special that could only come from the mind of Seth. The all-star guest lineup includes Tiffany Haddish, Sarah Silverman, Michelle Wolf, John Mulaney, Michael Che, Michael J. Fox, David Chang, Ike Barinholtz, Chelsea Peretti, Kumail Nanjiani, Jon Lovitz, Jeff Goldblum, Sacha Baron Cohen, Nick Kroll, Post Malone, Chris Hardwick, and Craig Robinson & The Nasty Delicious all star.
I wasn’t that impressed with Hilarity for Charity at first. Some of the comics jokes fell flat, and the humor seemed too out there for me. Yet as it moved forward I grew to really like it. The Muppets were wonderful, and I liked how the cause hit home for Seth. Some of the surprise guests were awesome, that part with Jeff Goldblum was pure genius. I also had no idea this cause has been around for many years now. I will highly suggest you check this special out, especially if you are a Seth Rogen fan.
