The action flick ‘Lock Up’ is heading to 4K Ultra HD
Sylvester Stallone has been in all kind of films in his long career. He was good in most of the Rocky films, and I thought he was great in The Expendables movies. He wasn’t so good in John Rambo though. When I heard about Lock Up coming to 4K Ultra HD I thought it sounded interesting. I was able to get a review copy and this is my thoughts on it.
You can read the plot for Lock Up here:
“This is hell and I’m going to give you a guided tour!” With these chilling words, the warden (Donald Sutherland) welcomes Frank Leone (Sylvester Stallone) to Gateway Prison, a nightmare jail where every minute is hard time. The warden wants vengeance for the past; Leone wants only to survive the present.
I thought Lock Up was okay, but it wasn’t great either. The movie had plenty of slow moments, and other times it was kind of obvious what was going to happen next. This movie redeems itself a bit though with the fact that you do feel sorry for Frank Leone, and you want to see him survive this place. Some people might enjoy this film, but it won’t be for everyone.
Lock Up is available now on 4K Ultra HD combo pack, Blu-Ray and DVD.
