The Good Men Project

Star Lord Takes a Serious Stab at Show Business in ‘Fame’

Quill decides to start his own talk show in ‘Fame’

The Guardians are finally rich for once. Each one went their own way to have fun with their part of the reward. Whether their goals have been selfish or noble, things have gone sideways every time. Some have learned a lesson while others not so much. It is finally time to see how Quill chose to spend his share of these credits. It looks like his tale may be the wackiest one of them all. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and here is my thoughts on it.

You can read the premise for ‘Fame’ here:

Quill takes the next logical step after beating Thanos – having his own talk show! But to his dismay everyone seems to hate it, especially the Grandmaster who is rigging the segments to destroy Quill.

‘Fame’ does a splendid job bringing this story to a close. Quill has high hopes for this show, but man do things get nuts almost right away. The audience doesn’t appear to be that into it, and like some of his guests more than him. When it turns out the Taskmaster is messing with him, that is when things get real crazy. He seems to spend his share faster than the rest, and yet he does have a bit of fun with it. Just not the kind I think he was looking for.
