The next phase of their training begins on ‘The Impact’
I really enjoyed the episodes I got to watch from The Rookie season 1. This was a different kind of cop show, and told some great stories. It wasn’t that surprising when I heard it got a season 2. The next part of training begins on ‘The Impact’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and here is what I thought of it.

Danger is ever-present as the officers of the Mid-Wilshire precinct grapple with the aftermath of a plotted attack on the city of Los Angeles, leaving Officer Bradford fighting for his life. Flash forward two weeks and the rookies receive the shocking results of their latest training exam, leaving one officer questioning what the future holds. Meanwhile, tension develops at home as Nolan and Lopez advance in their relationships with Jessica and Wesley.

The next phase of these recruits training begins in ‘The Impact’. Things start off nuts when it looks like an officer might be in serious trouble. It only gets worse when a few thugs steal from a uniform store. What they took was police uniforms, which means it will be hard to tell real cop from bad guys. This makes finding them and stopping them a top priority before they cause any harm. Luckily they are caught before they are able to finish a serious heist.
