Go on another daring adventure in ‘Jack Sparrows Adventures’

I have seen all of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I can say I enjoyed most of them, and really like the character of Captain Jack Sparrow. Johnny Depp plays this character perfectly and has made this series quite popular. I had no idea there were Pirates of the Caribbean manga out there though. When I heard about Jack Sparrows Adventures I couldn’t wait to read it. I was able to get a digital copy of this graphic novel and here is what I thought of it.

You can read the plot for Jack Sparrows Adventures here:

Embark on an adventure filled with dreams, desires, and epic battles surrounding the mysterious Sword of Cortés, a mystical weapon said to grant the wishes of whomever holds it. Throughout history, this powerful sword has allegedly been responsible for many bouts of good fortune — and unimaginable tragedies. With no crew at his command, Jack Sparrow sets off on his own to make a name for himself and take the legendary sword and scabbard of Cortés!

I had a great time reading Jack Sparrows Adventures. This graphic novel had adventure, mystery, amazing sword fights and some truly terrifying foes. It took me a little bit of time to get used to reading it though, from bottom to top instead of what I am normally used to. The illustrations were breath taking and really helped make so many scenes that much more wonderful. If you are a fan of Pirates of the Caribbean then this is a graphic novel you will want to read.

Jack Sparrows Adventures comes out February 19th. You can pre-order this graphic novel on Amazon and at Barnes and Noble.
