The newest Suicide Squad trailer premiered last night and shows a ton of new footage
When I heard they were doing a live action movie of the Suicide Squad like many fans I was apprehensive. Once the first trailer was shown at last year’s comic con that all changed for me. My review of it can be seen here. Yet there was still some apprehension if this would be a good movie or not. So a second trailer was released that really was something else. You can see what I thought of it here. Each new trailer gets me only more excited for a film that could show just how deranged and dark the DC universe can be in a live action medium.
Last night at the MTV movie awards they showed a new trailer for Suicide Squad and just like the past trailers gives fans new reasons to see this movie. Watch it right here:
Here is the synopsis for Suicide Squad:
‘It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?’
This trailer gives fans a few new joker scenes, some great Harley Quinn scenes and finally shows some of the other villains in action. There is also some new moments with Amanda Waller and gives a bit more back story how the team was assembled. The soundtrack is great just like the last one and fits all the mayhem and chaos like a glove. This certainly looks like a hit and fans won’t want to miss seeing it this summer.
Suicide Squad comes to theaters August 5, 2016.
