Something is not right on ‘Blame it on the Boss of Nova’
Last time on Guardians of the Galaxy, Quill and Gamora found themselves in an awesome 8-bit world. Quill loved it but Gamora wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. They were able to get out of that place, and were reunited with Rocket and Drax. Their next step was to find Groot, but they end up having a run in with a powerful entity. They finally escaped that place only to find some changes had happened while they were gone. They face those changes head on in ‘Blame it on the Boss of Nova’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and this is what I thought of it.
You can read the premise of ‘Blame it on the Boss of Nova’ here:
The Guardians finally make it out of the Black Vortex – only to realize A LOT has changed since they’ve been gone. The galaxy has been taken over by sinister robots called the Darkhawks, who are disguised as their friends.
The Guardians notice some things are different in ‘Blame it on the Boss of Nova’. It looks like their image has changed, and people believe they are dead. When they find out a friend of theirs is in trouble they formulate a plan to rescue them. Along the way they have a run in with someone who may be more than they seem. A battle ensues, and beating this foe was harder than they expected it to be. Once the battle is over, they take their friend to safety and find out a new threat is trying to take over the galaxy.
Guardians of the Galaxy ‘Blame it on the Boss of Nova’ airs tomorrow night at 9:30 pm on Disney XD.
