Visit a very peculiar ancient city on ‘Cult Patrol’
Last time on Doom Patrol, some of this team took a trip to Paraguay. There they ran into an old foe of Dr. Caulder’s. The place was very strange, and more dangerous than any of them could have imagined. We got to learn more about Negative Man’s past and how he became who he is now. A few more of Jane’s personalities came to the surface as well. As this episode came to an end someone discovered a side of themselves that they didn’t like. An old friend of Dr. Caulder’s asks this team for help in ‘Cult Patrol’. I was able to watch a screener of this episode and here is my thoughts on it.
You can read the premise for ‘Cult Patrol’ here:
As the team recovers from the fight at Fuchtopia, Willoughby Kipling, a magician and an old friend of Niles Caulder’s, unexpectedly conscripts the Doom Patrol into helping him avert the end of the world by stopping a nihilistic cult. Unfortunately though, the Doom Patrol fails and the Apocalypse begins!
This team faced some tough odds on ‘Cult Patrol’. Some of them still refuse to believe they could ever be a hero, but this mission may have changed that. Meanwhile Cliff and Jane ended up in a very peculiar ancient city. They met the one in charge, and stopping them didn’t seem possible. A prophecy was going to occur soon, and finding a way to stop it wasn’t going to be easy. As this episode comes to an end it looks like it may already be too late.
Doom Patrol ‘Cult Patrol’ is available now on DC Universe. You can follow this show on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
