‘The Boss Baby’ takes a fun look at the life of a simple kid
I am big fan of Dreamworks Animation. Each film they make finds a way to take a strange story and make it into something special. Their newest film The Boss Baby hopes to stand apart from all the rest. I was able to see it early and here is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for The Boss Baby here:
A seven-year-old boy (Miles Christopher Bakshi) has his life turned upside down by his new brother, an infant known as the Boss Baby (Alec Baldwin) who wears a suit and has the brusque manner of a businessman. However, the two are forced to get past their initial antagonism when they must work together on a mission of espionage involving the rivalry between babies and puppies.
I enjoyed watching The Boss Baby. This movie spins a strong narrative that reveals some interesting twists as the story progresses. The only real problem is that most of the jokes are aimed at adults. There are some good moments kids will enjoy too, but it is hard to say if it will be enough to keep them entertained. The Boss Baby gets 8/10. This is a good animated film that I had a lot of fun watching. There were a few good jokes that made me laugh, and I was pleased with how it ended. There were one or two moments that were kind of obvious, but overall this is a pretty good movie. Despite its minor flaws, this is a film worth paying to see.
The Boss Baby comes out this Friday. You can follow this film on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
