The Diary of an Immortal is a novel that shows the good an bad sides of living forever
Immortality is nothing new in literature. It has come up in books like Dracula, Frankenstein and many other stories. The novel The Diary of an Immortal takes a different stance on living forever. It has a main character who gets to make a choice, and that choice changes his life in more ways than one. I was able to get a review copy of this book and here is what I thought of it.

The Diary of an Immortal is the story of a twenty-one year old US Army medic who, during the liberation of the Dachau concentration camp in 1945, discovers an ancient immortality formula and traces its origin back to China.
I really had a blast reading The Diary of an Immortal. The story is original, clever and full of mystery. It begins pretty simply yet once the immortality pills are found it takes the reader on an amazing journey. The book is full of surprises, with events happening that even the main character never saw coming. My favorite thing about this book was the characters. They find a way to help this story evolve and grow into something more complex than when it began. Yet they also make sure the story still makes sense and that the reader understands what is happening. If you want to learn more about The Diary of an Immortal head over to this website.
The Diary of an Immortal gets 8/10. It was one of the better books I have read this year. I loved the story it told, it was unlike anything I have ever read before. The ending actually surprised me. Even though it was kind of a shock I was satisfied with how the book ended. If you are a fan of supernatural stories then you will want to read this book.
