‘The Girl on the Train’ A Mesmerizing Thriller

The Girl on the Train is a film that is full of exciting twists and turns

I am not always that big of a reader. I am able to read only so many books a year, but I can be out of the loop of books that are popular at that time. An example of this is The Girl on the Train. I was unaware this book existed, yet I have heard good things about it. A film based on this book is coming out, and it is getting really good buzz. I was able to see it this week and here is what I thought of it.

Here is the plot for The Girl on the Train:

Commuter Rachel Watson (Emily Blunt) catches daily glimpses of a seemingly perfect couple, Scott (Luke Evans) and Megan (Haley Bennett), from the window of her train. One day, Watson witnesses something shocking unfold in the backyard of the strangers’ home. Rachel tells the authorities what she thinks she saw after learning that Megan is now missing and feared dead. Unable to trust her own memory, the troubled woman begins her own investigation, while police suspect that Rachel may have crossed a dangerous line.

I was mesmerized while watching The Girl on the Train. Once the murder investigation began this film had my interest. I couldn’t help but wonder who was responsible and there are a ton of suspects. This was one of the better thrillers I have seen in a good while. To learn more about The Girl on the Train head to this website.

The Girl on the Train gets 8/10. This was a film that was able to keep my interest right down to the when it reveals who the killer is. Even after this happens there is still plenty of things going on to that will continue to draw the audience in right to the amazing finale.
