‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri’ A rather strange film
I have seen a good amount of dramas recently. A few of them have been really great. When I heard of Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri I had a feeling it would be good. I was able to see this film early and this is what I thought of it.
You can read the plot for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri here:
After months have passed without a culprit in her daughter’s murder case, Mildred Hayes makes a bold move, commissioning three signs leading into her town with a controversial message directed at William Willoughby, the town’s revered chief of police. When his second-in-command Officer Dixon, an immature mother’s boy with a penchant for violence, gets involved, the battle between Mildred and Ebbing’s law enforcement is only exacerbated.
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri gets 5/10. It was not a bad film, but I had some issues with it. The film starts off great, yet takes a weird turn towards the end. Woody Harrelson is the stand out star of this movie. He makes a bold move, one that affects a lot of lives. Yet through this decision, it ends up making them better people. I also liked Peter Dinklage, he plays a genuine character with only good intentions. The ending was pretty weak, and doesn’t really bring this movie to a close. Some people may like this film, but it will not be for everyone. To learn more about Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri click on this website.
