Not being from a country that has any Native American Indians, I know almost nothing of this population. What the portrayal of tiger lily showed me as a child, was a person acting in a proud but dignified manner towards their captor. I didn’t know anything about them back then and barely anything now. I do know of these stats but I forgot about the portrayal of tiger lily and now I see something like this, it’s given me another opportunity to see a different side of it
