‘Vampirina’ Introduces the new girl on the block to kids
There are a lot of good kids shows on TV right now. No two are alike, and each one takes kids to amazing places. When I heard of Vampirina, I was curious to check it out. I was able to get a review copy of the first DVD that has a few episodes on it and this is what I thought of it.
You can read the premise for Vampirina here:
A young vampire girl, Vampirina (aka Vee), is the new kid in town after her family moves from Transylvania to Pennsylvania. In her unfamiliar surroundings, Vee first tries to adapt, change and blend in with her schoolmates but ultimately she learns to appreciate her unique individuality and her friends’ too. Whether they’re making their own music videos, planning a party or throwing a sleepover, Vee and her friends always figure out how to have fang-tastic fun!
Vampirina is not a bad show. It has great characters, well done animation and plenty of good messages for kids. This show also has a pretty amazing voice cast list. It is not your typical show, but I can see why kids would enjoy it. The songs were alright, although I liked some better than others. This DVD comes with 4 episodes, and is the perfect show to watch this Halloween season.
Vampirina is available on DVD now.
