‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ is out now on Blu-Ray
It can be nice to watch a biographical film sometimes. When done right, they can do a wonderful job telling the life of a person who brought joy to many. When I heard about Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody I hoped I might get a chance to watch it. I was able to get a review copy of this film and here is my thoughts on it.
You can read the plot for I Wanna Dance With Somebody here:
From New Jersey choir girl to one of the best-selling and most awarded recording artists of all time, audiences are taken on an inspirational, poignant—and so emotional—journey through Houston’s trailblazing life and career, with show-stopping performances and a soundtrack of the icon’s most beloved hits as you’ve never heard them before.
Overall I enjoyed watching this movie. It did a great job telling the story of this talented singer. We see the good times, and some of the bad ones as well. ‘Becoming Whitney’ showed how the cast and crew helped bring this singer to life in this film. ‘The Personal Touch’ had those who knew Whitney telling how they helped add in things that made many scenes of this movie more genuine. There are also some nice deleted scenes.
Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody is available now on Blu-Ray and DVD. You can follow this movie on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
